MedAxiom Announces CV Transforum Fall’26 ePoster Winners, Highlighting Innovation in Cardiovascular Care

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MedAxiom, an ACC Company, has announced the second cohort of CV Transforum Fall’26 ePoster winners, recognizing projects that address real-world challenges and opportunities in cardiovascular care. The selected abstracts will be presented as electronic posters (ePosters) during CV Transforum Fall’26, Oct. 22–24, 2026, at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.

The MedAxiom CV Transforum Abstract Review Committee selected abstracts representing four key areas of cardiovascular care: value-based care, quality improvement, care delivery and cost reduction, and implementation science. Collectively, the selected projects demonstrate approaches to improving patient outcomes, strengthening care delivery, increasing operational efficiency and implementing evidence-based practices in cardiovascular programs.

The ePoster presentations will give attendees an opportunity to explore real-world cardiovascular projects and learn how cardiovascular organizations are addressing challenges in care delivery, quality improvement, value-based care, cost reduction and implementation. Presentations will highlight practical approaches, results and lessons learned that can inform cardiovascular program strategy and support improvements in patient care and organizational performance.

Lohr, MD, PhD, FACC, presenting “The Future of the CV Workforce: Lessons From the Field.” Lohr, a practicing cardiologist, ACC leader, professor and director of the Division of Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, will explore the forces shaping the future of the cardiovascular workforce. Drawing on lessons from the field, she will offer practical perspectives on navigating changes in cardiovascular care, strengthening team-based care, adapting to new models of practice, and building a more sustainable cardiovascular workforce.
