Health Partners Group Appoints Ruth Handcock as Chief Executive Officer
Ruth Handcock to join as Chief Executive Officer, effective 2 November 2026
Andrew Noble to become Co-Chairman
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Health Partners Group, the UK’s leading provider of high-quality occupational health and treatment services, today announced that Ruth Handcock will join as Chief Executive Officer, effective from 2nd November 2026. Andrew Noble, Co-Founder, who has served as CEO for the past ten years, will become Co-Chairman, working closely with Ruth, the senior leadership team and the Board.
The appointment comes at a pivotal moment for UK workplace healthcare. Over the past ten years, Health Partners has grown into the market leader in occupational health and treatment services across the UK and Ireland, recently completing the integration of Medigold Health to create the UK’s largest full-service workplace healthcare platform. The business now supports over 6 million client employees through award-winning services delivered in partnership with employers across the country, with average client retention of over 99.5% year on year.
Ruth Handcock is an experienced leader with a strong track record of building customer-focused, high-growth businesses. She most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Octopus Money, providing access to financial wellbeing support and services to over 200,000 employees. She is currently a Non-Executive Director at the British Business Bank, the UK’s development bank, as well as the Octopus Group company Seccl, and was awarded an OBE in 2025 for services to financial services and investment.
Andrew Noble, Co-Founder and outgoing CEO of Health Partners Group, said:
“Having co-founded Health Partners 10 years ago, I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Ruth to the senior leadership team. She brings exactly the kind of thoughtful, ambitious leadership this business needs for its next chapter. We have grown from strength to strength, and this is a natural next step for the team and the business. I very much look forward to working with Ruth and supporting her and the team in the years to come – there is so much important work still to do to provide more accessible healthcare for all.”
Ruth Handcock, incoming Chief Executive Officer, said:
“Health Partners is an extraordinary business, and has already had a huge impact, at scale. I was drawn to the opportunity to build on that foundation, by supporting even more employees with their healthcare needs at work. There is an acute shortage of affordable healthcare support for both employers and employees, and good jobs and healthy workplaces have never mattered more to the UK economy. Health Partners is uniquely placed to lead this market, and it is a privilege to join a business that exemplifies the power of great teams working well together.”
