Over $3.6M Raised to Build a More Connected Future of Mental Health at 32nd One Mind Music Festival Featuring The Fray

With over 500 attendees, the event spotlighted cutting-edge science and innovation, celebrated exceptional wine and food, and welcomed beloved band, The Fray

RUTHERFORD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On Saturday, September 19, 2026, leaders in science, philanthropy, and business, community members, and advocates gathered at the Staglin Family Vineyard in Napa Valley for the 32nd annual One Mind Music Festival, presented by Bank of America and Bristol Myers Squibb. The event welcomed more than 500 guests and raised over $3.6M to advance mental health research and discovery.

Proceeds from the event benefit One Mind, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is building a network of leaders who are shaping the science and the future of mental health.

The organization has fueled scientific breakthroughs by funding 59 boundary-pushing scholars, accelerated innovation by supporting 51 mental health startups, collaborated with more than 150 global companies to improve mental health in the workplace, and amplified lived experience to strengthen scientific relevance, improve accessibility, and ensure that solutions reflect real-world needs.

This year's event kicked off with the Science & Innovation Symposium, welcoming keynote speakers Dr. Ekaterina Malievskaia and Lars Wilde, Co-Founders of COMPASS Pathways. They shared the story behind the development of COMP360, COMPASS Pathways’ investigational synthetic psilocybin treatment currently in Phase 3 development for depression where other treatments have failed. From there, the five recipients of the 2026 One Mind Rising Star Awards shared their groundbreaking research, and Dr. Kathy Pike moderated a fireside chat with Dr. Matthew White, MD of Sutter Health, Brandon Staglin of One Mind's Lived Experience Initiative, and David Ballard of One Mind at Work. The symposium concluded with One Mind Accelerator company founders from Monument Therapeutics and Radicle Science offering a look inside their drug development and clinical trials.

Guests enjoyed a wine tasting reception featuring over 70 premier vintners, presented by Alma Rosa Winery and Vineyards. San Francisco’s EPIC Steak and Waterbar provided accompanying culinary offerings. Greg and Stacy Lill, Co-Founders of DeLille Cellars and Lill Family Wines received the One Mind Honored Vintner Award, celebrating their dedication and contributions to the festival each year.

This year’s concert began with a welcome from leading partners Anne Oxrider, Senior Vice President and Benefits Executive at Bank of America and Emma Williams, Head of Neuroscience Global Patient Advocacy, Corporate Affairs, at Bristol Myers Squibb. They reaffirmed their organizations’ commitment to One Mind and the importance of investing in mental health innovation before four-time Grammy-nominated band The Fray took the stage to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its hit song, How to Save a Life.

VIP dinner included a surprise guest appearance by Tamar Greene, Broadway's longest running George Washington in the Broadway musical, Hamilton. Accompanied by concert pianist Elaine Kwon, he earned a standing ovation following his powerful performance of The Impossible Dream.

Next year’s One Mind Music Festival, the 33rd annual, will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2027. One Mind will also host its third annual Apollo & Psyche celebration on Monday, April 5, 2027, at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. Visit onemind.org for more information.
