Bareburger Launches New App, First-Party Ordering, and Loyalty Program with Thanx

The chef-driven, organic burger brand upgrades the technology behind its app, ordering, and loyalty as it enters its next chapter, deepening guest relationships and giving operators a clearer line to repeat visits and revenue

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bareburger, the New York–born organic grass-fed beef burger brand known for chef-driven, sustainably sourced food and a menu built for every dietary lifestyle, has launched a new mobile app, first-party digital ordering experience, and loyalty program powered by Thanx, its guest engagement and loyalty platform. The new experience is live across Bareburger's footprint as the brand deepens guest relationships and grows repeat business.

We chose Thanx because it helps us understand our guests, reward them in a way that feels personal, and see the revenue that loyalty actually drives.

The launch is part of a broader brand evolution. As Bareburger entered its next chapter, it set out to find a partner with a proven record of innovation and measurable outcomes, one already proven at turning guest engagement into repeat visits and revenue.

"Bareburger has always been about quality you can taste, and an experience worth coming back for, and our technology has to live up to that standard," says Euripides "EP" Pelekanos, Co-Founder & CEO of Bareburger. "We chose Thanx because it helps us understand our guests, reward them in a way that feels personal, and see the revenue that loyalty actually drives."

Founded in Astoria, Queens, in 2009, Bareburger built its name on organic, grass-fed beef and an inclusive menu spanning plant-based, vegan, and gluten-free options. With Thanx, its app, ordering, marketing, and loyalty are now integrated with its Toast point-of-sale system, and revenue-based reporting draws a clear line between the offers the brand sends and the spend they generate. Because the program rewards guests for how they actually engage, not transactions alone, it adapts to each guest: someone who orders plant-based can be surfaced a reward that fits, a natural extension of a menu built around choice.

The launch also gives Bareburger a single, unified view of guest data that was previously fragmented across channels, and lets HQ run consistent, brand-wide promotions across its company-owned and franchised locations. That helps the brand identify its most valuable guests and measure what drives a second and third visit, the visits that matter most. Research consistently shows the third purchase is worth 10 to 12 times the first.

"We wanted a partner already proven at moving the numbers that matter: repeat visits, first-party sales, guest lifetime value," said EP. "Thanx consistently ships innovation that translates into results for the brands they work with. As we grow, that mattered more to us than anything."

“For successful restaurants, marketing teams rarely grow as fast as location counts,” said Zach Goldstein, CEO and Founder of Thanx. “So first-party digital ordering and data-driven personalization need to become more robust and simultaneously easier to execute. Bareburger's food already wins guests back. Our job is to help that happen a bit more often."
