Former Premier and Amazon executive joins A Place for Mom to lead provider marketplace strategy, network growth, and partner success.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A Place for Mom (APFM), the nation’s leading senior care advisory platform that has guided more than 2.3 million families through the aging journey, today announced the appointment of Stephen Bucken as General Manager of its Senior Care Network.

As General Manager of the Senior Care Network, Bucken will lead the strategy and execution for A Place for Mom’s senior living and home care marketplace, expanding the network and strengthening partner success. He will focus on making A Place for Mom an essential growth platform for providers, helping them showcase their services to more than 20 million consumers annually, connect with best-fit families and scale efficiently.

Bucken brings more than a decade of executive leadership experience building and transforming high-performing healthcare organizations. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Continuum of Care Sales & Account Management at Premier, a healthcare improvement company, where he helped transform the commercial organization to maximize non-acute provider value. He began his healthcare career at GE Healthcare, where he managed strategic partnerships and executive relationships with major US health systems. At Amazon Business, he led the U.S. non-acute healthcare business, then moved on to head employer sales for the Central U.S. at Amazon Health, launching the company's small-business go-to-market strategy.

“As the leading senior care platform, A Place for Mom fuels industry growth by efficiently connecting providers with the right families at scale,” said Tatyana Zlotsky, Chief Executive Officer of A Place for Mom. “Stephen brings the commercial leadership, operational expertise and deep customer focus to deliver even more value to our partners. Together, we can help senior living communities and home care agencies grow their businesses while advancing our shared mission of helping families.”

"A Place for Mom has a strong provider network foundation, and I'm excited to work with our partners to build on it," said Bucken. "My first priority is to deeply understand providers' perspectives firsthand and ensure their voice informs our strategy and decision-making. By deepening those partnerships and strengthening the value we deliver, we can expand our impact for the families and communities we serve."
