Premier Strengthens Leadership Team to Accelerate AI-First Strategy and Product Innovation

New executives will lead Premier’s enterprise AI and product strategies to deliver smarter solutions and greater value for healthcare providers.

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Premier, Inc. today announced two executive appointments as the company accelerates its evolution into a more integrated, AI-first healthcare performance improvement company built to deliver deeper, measurable value for members.

Florian Quarré has joined Premier as Chief AI and Analytics Officer. Matthew Zubiller, FACHE, has joined as Chief Business and Product Officer. Both report to Premier President, CEO and Chairman of the Board Dr. Emad Rizk.

The appointments strengthen two capabilities central to Premier’s strategy: delivering actionable intelligence and building a more connected portfolio of products and solutions around the most important challenges facing healthcare providers.

Quarré will lead Premier’s enterprise AI, data, analytics and technology strategy, including its new AI & Analytics Center of Excellence. His mandate is to accelerate Premier’s evolution into an AI-first organization, harnessing the collective power of Premier’s data and embedding intelligence into products, solutions and workflows that help members uncover opportunity, anticipate risk and improve clinical, operational and financial performance.

Quarré brings more than 20 years of healthcare, AI and transformation experience. Most recently, he served as Senior Partner and Head of Digital Transformation at HealthScape Advisors following senior leadership roles at PwC, Ciox Health, ExponentialAI and Deloitte. A frequent industry speaker and guest lecturer at Georgetown University, Quarré is a recognized voice on responsible AI and the evolution toward more data-driven, automated and actionable healthcare.

Zubiller brings 30 years of experience leading healthcare, technology and services organizations, with deep expertise in product strategy, innovation, commercialization, revenue cycle and growth. Prior to joining Premier, he served as CEO and Board Member of Your Behavioral Health and CEO of e4health. He also previously held executive leadership roles at McKesson/Change Healthcare, AMN Healthcare and Smile Brands.
