Sixth Annual CoreGiving Day Mobilizes Volunteers to Combat Hunger

Event builds on CoreGiving's impact as the organization surpasses 100 million meals enabled.

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CoreGiving, a 501(c)(3) organization that unites people and partners to nourish children and families through grants and volunteer service, multiplying its impact in the fight against childhood hunger, will host its sixth annual CoreGiving Day on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

This year’s event is expected to bring together volunteers from Blackstone and 30 of its portfolio companies to support hunger-relief organizations in over 100 cities across five continents. CoreGiving’s global reach continues to expand, with new volunteer opportunities launched in Canada, Colombia and India.

For the third consecutive year, the Blackstone Charitable Foundation will grant $250,000 to CoreGiving in support of its Global Fight Hunger campaign. Combined with sponsorship support from CBRE Group, Inc., Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield, Eastdil Secured Savills, JLL and Newmark Group, Inc., this funding will help provide more than 4 million meals through CoreGiving’s network of hunger-relief partners.

This collective support builds on CoreGiving's growing impact. Since its inception, CoreGiving has helped provide more than 100 million meals for children and families in need.
