“We're living through one of the most exciting periods in automotive history,” said Aruna Anand, President and CEO, AUMOVIO, North America. “Advances in software, sensing, connectivity, and intelligent systems are reshaping mobility faster than ever before. At AUMOVIO, we're proud to help drive that transformation by turning breakthrough technologies into solutions that improve safety, convenience, and everyday life.”

As AUMOVIO marks its first year as an independent company, it continues to build momentum through strategic growth, customer-focused innovation and a clear vision for the future of mobility.

Growth through innovation

By combining technology, innovation and deep automotive expertise, AUMOVIO is expanding its impact and creating new opportunities for growth across the mobility landscape. Recently, AUMOVIO secured new business with several leading autonomous mobility companies for its high-performance computing solutions, radars and telematics control units, further expanding its presence in the rapidly growing autonomous mobility space.

These momentum gains come as the automotive industry accelerates its transition to software-defined vehicles and increasingly centralized vehicle architectures, where high-performance computing serves as a critical foundation. AUMOVIO is helping drive this transformation with advanced HPC solutions that connect and integrate functions across all vehicle domains.

As AUMOVIO accelerates its growth in areas of mobility, it continues to lead innovation in its core markets with multiple business awards recognizing its industry-leading head-up display solutions with vehicle manufactures in North America with cumulative lifetime sales in the triple-digit millions. These significant opportunities not only enable the company’s continued growth in the region, but also further underscores the company’s innovation spirit, technology prowess and ability to deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers.

Building on this momentum, AUMOVIO is advancing a broad portfolio of next-generation UX technologies designed to enhance safety, connectivity and the overall driving experience. This includes innovations in sensing and monitoring solutions, such as under display camera or non-invasive blood alcohol detection technology, further demonstrating the company's commitment to shaping the future of safer, smarter mobility.

AUMOVIO's UX business area will showcase its latest innovations at CES 2027, highlighting advanced technologies and solutions that elevate the user experience.

Expanding operations

Within its first year of independent operations, AUMOVIO announced a $110 million expansion of its New Braunfels, Texas facility, the company's first autonomous-mobility greenfield site in the U.S. The expansion was in response to growing demand for AUMOVIO’s state-of-the-art radar. The 65,000-square-foot addition, including a new automated warehouse, will more than double the plant's production floor space, with completion expected in the first half of 2027. The facility’s expansion will also support the company’s partnership with Aurora.

Additionally, AUMOVIO completed a renovation of its Harmon Road facility, also located in Auburn Hills, Mich., consolidating its comprehensive automotive reliability testing operations to better serve customers in the region. The investment enhances the company's advanced validation capabilities and supports the continued development of next-generation mobility solutions. As we look ahead, we remain focused on delivering technologies that shape the future of mobility while creating long-term value for our customers, partners, and stakeholders."
