  • First confirmed speakers announced, including leaders from Booking Holdings, Marriott, Hilton, Intrepid Travel and S4 Capital
  • Theme calls for new alliances across tourism, technology, investment and government to shape the sector’s next 50 years

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Excellency Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of TOURISE, today announced the TOURISE 2027 Summit, taking place in Riyadh from March 23-25, 2027. Building on the inaugural TOURISE Summit in November 2025 and a year of collaboration since, the 2027 edition will run under the theme “Alliances That Move the World.” Over three days, leaders will focus on the partnerships, investments and actions needed to advance the global tourism agenda over the next 50 years.

The Summit will convene public and private sector leaders across tourism, technology, investment, sustainability, culture, mobility and government to tackle the sector’s most pressing opportunities and challenges and help shape the next era of global tourism. At the inaugural Summit, TOURISE announced USD 113 billion in portfolio investments spanning hotels, integrated destinations, wellness, retail, talent development and AI-powered platforms, demonstrating the potential of public and private sector collaboration to translate ambition into investment and action.

The first confirmed speakers for the 2027 Summit were also announced and include leaders from organizations such as Marriott, Wego, Switzerland Tourism and Technogym — with many more to come. Together, they represent organizations shaping how people travel, connect, invest and experience the world.

TOURISE 2027 is also backed by a growing roster of partners and sponsors, including stc, Dar Al Arkan, The Avenues, Qiddiya City, Aseer Development Authority, Saudia, Jeddah Central, Taiba, Tourism Development Fund, Red Sea Global, Almosafer and Snapchat, reflecting the platform’s role in connecting public and private sector across the tourism value chain.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Khateeb, Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of TOURISE, said:

“The future of tourism will be shaped not by any single destination, company or institution, but by the strength of the alliances we build between the public and private sector. Saudi Arabia has seen firsthand what becomes possible when ambition, investment and partnership move together. Through TOURISE, we are taking that experience to the global stage, connecting leaders across sectors and markets to turn shared ambition into action. In March, we invite the world to Riyadh to build the alliances that will shape the next 50 years of tourism.”

Gloria Guevara, President and CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council, and panelist at today’s announcement, added:

“The next chapter of tourism will be defined by collaboration at a scale we have never seen before. ‘Alliances That Move the World’ captures the opportunity before us: to connect industries, capital and ideas in ways that create meaningful progress for destinations, businesses and communities. TOURISE creates the space for leaders to move beyond discussion and work together on practical solutions for the future of travel.”

TOURISE is backed by a Board of Trustees chaired by His Excellency, with global experts from online travel agencies, tour operators, hospitality, global tourism bodies, entertainment and media.
