A Richardson Staple Returns! Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Reopens Longstanding Location Under New Ownership

Fan-favorite neighborhood barbecue destination returns under local ownership, continuing its tenured legacy in North Texas

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The smoker is fired up on North Coit Road as Dickey’s Barbecue Pit officially reopens its doors in Richardson today, September 16, bringing back a longtime community favorite known for its slow-smoked meats and Texas-sized hospitality.

Located at 2160 N. Coit Road, Richardson, TX 75080 in the popular Lennox Center shopping and dining destination, the restaurant has been a pillar of the area since 2014, serving generations of families, students and local businesses across North Dallas.

Abdelqader Bin Tareef officially put on the apron as the new Pit Master of his hometown Dickey’s and is excited to bring his passion for barbecue, hospitality and community connections to the longstanding restaurant.
