Ardent Health Hospitals Earn Recognition in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026-2027 Best Hospitals Rankings

Thirteen facilities across Ardent markets recognized for excellence in specialties, procedures and conditions

BRENTWOOD, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ardent Health (NYSE: ARDT), a leading provider of healthcare in growing mid-sized urban communities across the U.S., today announced that 13 hospitals across its network earned recognition in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026-2027 Best Hospitals rankings, the publication’s 37th annual assessment of hospital quality. The honors include a Best Regional Hospital designation, regional specialty rankings and 34 High Performing ratings across procedures and conditions.

A High Performing rating is the highest distinction a hospital can earn in U.S. News’ Procedures & Conditions ratings. The annual ratings are designed to help patients and healthcare providers make informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions and elective procedures.

Hillcrest HealthCare System | Tulsa, Oklahoma

• Hillcrest Medical Center was rated High Performing in seven procedures and conditions: transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), heart bypass surgery, pacemaker implantation, leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, heart attack, diabetes, and heart arrhythmia.
• Oklahoma Heart Institute TAVR program ranked No. 19 in the nation among more than 800 TAVR programs and No. 1 in Oklahoma.
• Hillcrest Hospital South was rated High Performing in back surgery, specifically spinal fusion; ear, nose and throat surgery; diabetes; and kidney failure.
• Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital was rated High Performing in back surgery, specifically spinal fusion.

Lovelace Health System | Albuquerque, New Mexico

• Lovelace Medical Center was named a Best Regional Hospital and ranked No. 2 in New Mexico and the Albuquerque metro area. The hospital was also rated High Performing in eight procedures and conditions: abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, heart bypass surgery, knee replacement, back surgery, pacemaker implantation, leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, heart attack, and heart arrhythmia.
• Lovelace Rehabilitation Hospital ranked No. 1 in rehabilitation in both New Mexico and the Albuquerque metro area.
• Lovelace Westside Hospital was rated High Performing in pneumonia.
• Lovelace Women’s Hospital was rated High Performing in prostate cancer surgery.

BSA Health System | Amarillo, Texas

• BSA Hospital was rated High Performing in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and prostate cancer surgery.
• Physicians Surgical Hospital-Quail Creek was rated High Performing in back surgery, specifically spinal fusion.

UT Health East Texas | Tyler, Texas

• UT Health Tyler was rated High Performing in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, pacemaker implantation and prostate cancer surgery.

Portneuf Health | Pocatello, Idaho

• Portneuf Medical Center was rated High Performing in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and heart attack care.

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus | Topeka, Kansas

• The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus was rated High Performing in colon cancer surgery, hip fracture and knee replacement.

Seton Medical Center Harker Heights | Harker Heights, Texas

• Seton Medical Center Harker Heights was rated High Performing in heart attack care.

U.S. News evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals across 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions. To determine the Best Hospitals rankings and ratings, U.S. News analyzed each hospital’s performance using objective measures including risk-adjusted mortality, preventable complications and patient experience. The specialty rankings and Procedures & Conditions ratings measure patient outcomes using data from more than 800 million patient care records.
