Periscope Equity Announces Promotion of Eric Hinkle to Partner

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Periscope Equity, a Chicago-based private equity firm, is proud to announce the promotion of Eric Hinkle to Partner. The promotion recognizes Eric's proven leadership in working with founder-led and family-owned business services companies.

Since joining Periscope in 2017 as a Vice President, Eric has been a driving force behind the firm's investment activity, including platform investments in RepTrak, Praecipio, CyberMaxx, and Mobile Solutions, where he partnered with the management teams to shape growth strategies and lead numerous add-on acquisition programs. Eric will continue to be responsible for investment strategy, deal execution, and value creation initiatives at portfolio companies.

"For nearly a decade, Eric has been indispensable to our team and portfolio companies," said Steve Jarmel, Founder and Partner at Periscope Equity. "He brings the kind of sector depth, grit, and operational rigor that our founders and management teams rely on, and this promotion reflects the trust he's earned across our organization."

Beyond his work with individual portfolio companies, Eric has also helped lead Periscope's push into operational innovation, identifying early opportunities to apply technology, data, and AI within the firm and across its portfolio companies. That same forward-looking mindset carries into how Eric sees his new role.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity and responsibility to step into a leadership role at Periscope," said Eric Hinkle, Partner at Periscope Equity. "This team exemplifies partnership in the truest sense, and I'm excited for what's ahead, as we continue to grow as a firm and build great companies alongside our management teams."
