The Indigenomics Institute Hosts its 3rd Global Indigenous Economic Forum

Indigenomics NOW connects Indigenous economic leaders, institutions, businesses and ideas across continents through a 24-hour digital forum focused on the future of economic design.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Indigenomics Institute is hosting its third gathering of Indigenomics NOW, the world's only 24-hour online global Indigenous economic forum on September 26, 2026. Indigenomics NOW is the global expression of Indigenomics, an Indigenous economic design platform for advancing the growing economic power and knowledge of Indigenous Peoples.

"Indigenomics NOW brings a generational lens to economic design," said Carol Anne Hilton, Host and Founder. "Economic systems generate value across multiple dimensions: financial return, ecological regeneration, cultural continuity, community wellbeing and the long-term health of living systems. These are the dimensions the conventional economic framework leaves off of the ledger. Indigenomics NOW demonstrates this in action through global engagement."

Across the 24-hour forum, following the sun around the world – from Turtle Island and the Pacific to Aotearoa, Africa, and Latin America, the conversations will explore the forces shaping the next generation of Indigenous economic growth, from capital and investment, entrepreneurship and trade to technology and AI, infrastructure, governance, and ownership. The forum will also examine finance, Indigenous institutions, youth and future generations, sustainable and regenerative economies, data, and new models of value creation.

Event features:

  1. Honorary Witness and Sovereign Witness roles, with international outreach to Aotearoa, Greenland and Ghana, placing sovereign, cultural and economic authority in the room to receive the gathering and bring its implications forward.
  2. A formal Partner Program moving participation through Indigenous chambers, business councils, banks, universities, trade and youth organizations, Indigenous women's economic leadership networks and global Indigenous networks.
  3. Thirteen content tracks, focusing on Indigenous business and systems transformation through ownership, self-determination, digital and financial infrastructure, economic justice and traditional values, into Indigenous trade and Indigenous capital.

Get involved:

Indigenomics NOW is Indigenous-led and open to Indigenous Nations, businesses, investors, governments, universities, students, and allies and anyone shaping the future of economic design. Join from anywhere for a single session or the full 24 hours. Bring your Nation, board or team as a delegation. Host a Watch Party in your community, campus or office. Every registration includes replay access, so the full 24 hours remain available after the forum.
