Garett Bjorkman Joins CIM Group to Co-Lead Opportunity Zones Platform with Robert Dupree as Firm Continues to Expand OZ Strategy

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CIM Group announced that Garett Bjorkman has returned to the firm as Principal and Co-Head of Opportunity Zones.

Mr. Bjorkman previously served as Managing Director, Portfolio Oversight at CIM Group from 2015 to 2024 and helped launch the firm’s Opportunity Zones platform in 2019. In his new role, he will co-lead the platform with Robert Dupree, Principal, and senior leader with more than a decade of experience across CIM’s platforms.

Mr. Bjorkman has more than 15 years of experience in leading investment strategy and sourcing, asset management, product development, and portfolio management. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Real Estate and International Business from the University of Denver. He will be based in Phoenix.
