Tungsten Automation Named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Intelligent Document Processing

A repeat recognition, coming in the second year Gartner has evaluated the IDP market.

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tungsten Automation, a global leader in document and workflow automation, today announced it has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Intelligent Document Processing (IDP). Gartner has now named the company a Leader in both IDP Magic Quadrant reports it has published to date.

Gartner evaluates IDP vendors on completeness of vision and ability to execute. Tungsten Automation believes its position reflects two years of steady delivery for customers: production AI that processes data accurately at enterprise volume, agentic orchestration that carries it through to action, and governance that lets regulated industries run it all under audit. That foundation runs on an API-first architecture that connects to the systems customers already have in place, and is backed by customers, partners, and support teams in more than 140 countries.

Tungsten TotalAgility™, the company's flagship platform, automates document processing, orchestrates end-to-end workflows, and turns unstructured documents into trusted decisions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. Tungsten Automation processes more than 10 billion documents annually for organizations in banking and financial services, insurance, supply chain, healthcare, and the public sector, including 8 of the top 10 global banks, 7 of the top 10 global insurers, 9 of the top 10 logistics companies, and 14 of the 15 U.S. federal departments.

“I feel our position as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for two consecutive years demonstrates the significance of our customer impact,” said Peter Hantman, Chief Executive Officer of Tungsten Automation. “Enterprises don't need more AI demos, they need document automation that holds up in production, at volume, under audit. That's what we deliver, and it's why the world's largest banks, insurers, logistics companies, and government agencies trust us with automating the document workflows most critical to their business.”

Customers point to that recognition directly. “Tungsten is the right partner for us because they're recognized as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant, and they're there for us in person when we need them,” said Kevin den Ouden, IT Lead Cloud, ASN Bank.

Over the past year, Tungsten Automation has continued to invest in the platform's AI and agentic capabilities, flexible packaging, no-code DocAI Studio, and DocAI Accelerators, its catalog of pretrained models and workflows. The platform has also achieved FedRAMP High authorization, GovRAMP authorization, and IRAP Readiness Assessed at PROTECTED Level, as previously announced, with global support spanning more than 140 countries.
