Zelis® Names Jim Young Chief Financial & Administrative Officer, Succeeding Retiring Brian Gladden

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zelis®, a leading provider of healthcare technology solutions, announces that Jim Young has been appointed Chief Financial & Administrative Officer. He succeeds Brian Gladden as part of a planned retirement. The two will work closely together through a transition period until December 31, 2026.

Young brings more than 20 years of finance leadership at high-growth private and public companies, with deep experience across capital markets, M&A and large-scale finance transformation. He joins Zelis from Coalition, Inc., where he served as the cybersecurity insurer's Chief Financial Officer, leading the company's global finance, people and actuary operations. Prior, Young was CFO of Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR), guiding the company’s impressive fourfold growth in market capitalization and earning the company a spot in the S&P 500. Earlier, Young spent eight years in senior leadership roles at Visa Inc. (NYSE: V), where he supported the company’s nearly $20 billion initial public offering in 2008, one of the largest IPOs for a U.S. company at the time.

"Identifying the right successor for this critical role took a careful process, and Jim’s expertise stood out to us immediately," said Amanda Eisel, CEO of Zelis. “Jim’s past experience scaling high-growth technology and payments companies, across both public and private markets, positions him well to support our future goals. None of this would be possible without the foundation Brian built, and we're grateful for his contributions and leadership.”

”Zelis is a company with a unique mission and an incredible opportunity ahead of it,” said Young. “I’m grateful to step into this role and look forward to building on the foundation Brian established. In partnership with Amanda and the incredible team, I am eager to help this company achieve its next stage of growth.”

Since joining Zelis in 2021, Gladden played a key role in guiding the company through significant growth, adding new investors, and establishing the company’s presence in Hyderabad, India.
