ScaleOut Product Suite, Version 7, Brings Live Operational Context to Generative AI

BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, ScaleOut Software introduces Version 7 of its ScaleOut Product Suite, advancing its industry-leading, in-memory computing and digital twin software with breakthrough new capabilities that give generative AI a fast, scalable data layer for monitoring and analyzing complex, live systems.

Applying generative AI to live systems, for example, to monitor a telecommunications network, requires both timely information and an understanding of the system producing it. Today’s retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) relies on traditional data sources, such as databases that cannot provide live telemetry at scale, or on streaming platforms, which lack descriptive information about the system. As a result, AI lacks the continuously updated, contextualized view of a live system needed to effectively monitor and analyze it.

Version 7 of ScaleOut Digital Twins™ addresses that gap by creating a fast, scalable data layer for AI RAG that eliminates bottlenecks in accessing live data. ScaleOut’s software platform uses an object-oriented, digital twin model to track all system components in real time. It also holds rich metadata about the system’s structure and its intended behavior, giving AI deep context to aid its analysis. ScaleOut’s distributed in-memory computing architecture delivers the scalability required to track very large and complex operational systems. It provides a new foundation for RAG to meet the demands of today’s AI models.

Key New Features in ScaleOut Product Suite, Version 7

  • Integration of Claude with Live Digital Twin Data and Context: Claude Desktop can now securely connect to a ScaleOut digital twin deployment using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This gives Claude direct access to live telemetry, system structure, and contextual metadata for real-time analysis. Additional AI model integrations are planned for future releases.
  • Unified Access to ScaleOut’s Real-Time Technologies: A new integrated user interface unifies management of ScaleOut Digital Twins within the ScaleOut Product Suite. Now developers can seamlessly manage digital twin models alongside other platform features, including ScaleOut Active Caching™ for managing fast-changing application data. The unified user interface gives organizations a simpler way to deploy and manage applications that track live data at scale.
  • Fast Analysis of Large Cached Collections: Developers can now deploy data-parallel methods across entire collections of in-memory objects to implement fast, scalable analysis of cached data. Building on ScaleOut Software’s two decades of technical leadership in parallel computing and delivered as a part of ScaleOut Active Caching, this powerful new feature automatically distributes work across ScaleOut’s in-memory computing platform and returns combined results to applications. For example, developers can now deploy customized text search algorithms that run across cached datasets and quickly identify stored data that match specific criteria.
