LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--To help California students meet grade-level math standards and build readiness for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), educators need timely insights into what students understand and an easy way to act on that information. Through this partnership, Next Gen Math now provides pre-built assessments — Unit Assessments, Weekly Quick Checks, and Exit Tickets — directly aligned to Math Nation California and STEMscopes California Math. Teachers can preview, customize, digitally assign, and/or print every assessment.

Math Nation California and STEMscopes California Math are two problem-based, high-quality instructional materials approved by the California State Board of Education. Through the power of Next Gen Math’s platform, Math Nation California and STEMscopes California Math customers can now map every question, assignment, and data point to the CCSSM by claim, domain, cluster, target, standard, and depth of knowledge. The platform also identifies priority and supporting standards so teachers can focus instructional time and teach to the framework’s Big Ideas.

Using immediate data from any assessment, district and school administrators can monitor student progress toward grade-level success, while teachers can access Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention, acceleration, and fluency practice for individual students or groups in just a few clicks. In the Next Gen Math platform, the Math Nation California and STEMscopes California Math data automatically matches student learning needs to standards-aligned resources, allowing teachers to address needs early and design equitable instruction with ease.

Together, Accelerate Learning and Next Gen Math are connecting instruction, insight, and action — combining high-quality core curriculum with actionable student data to give California educators a more powerful way to understand where students are, respond to what they need, and keep every learner moving toward grade-level success.

To learn more, educators can connect with the Accelerate Learning team or the Next Gen Math team.
