Florida Department of Education Approves Accelerate Learning’s Math Nation Florida in K–12 Mathematics Instructional Materials Adoption

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Florida Department of Education has approved Math Nation Florida from Accelerate Learning for statewide adoption in the 2026-2027 Florida instructional materials adoption for K–12 Mathematics. Math Nation Florida, which is designed for Florida’s Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards for Mathematics, is approved for grades K–12, including accelerated and honors courses.

Math Nation Florida offers an integrated print and digital program that brings together instruction, practice, assessment, and support to increase student confidence and achievement. Each lesson includes student workbooks, collaborative learning tools, and on-demand instructional videos available in both English and Spanish. With comprehensive teacher supports and Florida-aligned assessments, Math Nation Florida simplifies planning and equips educators with everything they need to guide students toward deep mathematical understanding.

Research studies have demonstrated Math Nation’s impact on student achievement in Florida. Schools using Math Nation saw students score 2.9 points higher on average on the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) in Mathematics, with 2.6% more students reaching Level 5 proficiency across grades 6–8.

Additional research found that the longer schools used Math Nation, the better their students performed on the Algebra 1 End-of-Course exam. Each additional year of Math Nation use was associated with an increase in scale scores and a nearly 3 percentage point increase in the number of students meeting the state proficiency standard.

Math Nation was named the 2025 Best of STEM Award winner for Grades 6-12 Mathematics and was a finalist for Best Mathematics Instructional Solution in the 2025 CODiE Awards.
