Pryor Cashman Names Katherine Reilly Co-Chair of White Collar + Regulatory Enforcement Practice

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pryor Cashman announced today that Katherine C. Reilly has been named co-chair of the firm’s White Collar + Regulatory Enforcement Practice, effective immediately.

Since joining Pryor Cashman in early 2025 after more than a decade as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, Kate has built a practice advising corporations, financial institutions, and individuals on high-stakes government investigations, internal compliance matters, and litigation strategy. She represents clients in matters brought by the Department of Justice, the SEC, the CFTC, OFAC, and state regulators, as well as on internal investigations and compliance strategy.

During her time in government, Kate served as chief of the Southern District’s Complex Frauds & Cybercrime Unit. As a prosecutor, Kate tried or supervised more than a dozen criminal jury trials. She supervised the prosecution of groundbreaking actions including the first criminal charges for music streaming fraud facilitated by AI-generated content, a first-of-its-kind prosecution arising from a hack of the Ethereum blockchain, and the first ever conviction stemming from a hack of a decentralized financial exchange.

In private practice, Kate has been recognized by Chambers USA in Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations (New York), and been named a New York City Elite Lawyer in White Collar by Legal 500 and one of Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Litigators in America.

Kate will lead the practice alongside existing chair Sidhardha “Sid” Kamaraju. Pryor Cashman’s White Collar + Regulatory Enforcement Practice handles the full spectrum of sophisticated white collar and regulatory matters, from defending individuals charged with significant criminal offenses, to representing corporations embroiled in complicated government investigations, to conducting internal investigations for companies facing crisis. The practice has experienced significant growth in the recent years and now includes four former federal prosecutors. In addition to welcoming Kate, since 2024, the practice has added partners David Abramowicz, former in-house counsel at GE Vernova and Deputy Chief of Appeals at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, and Jasmine Juteau, who joined after a long career at a prominent criminal defense boutique.
