Gold's Gym® Unveils ‘Hone’ for Enhanced Member Experience and Performance
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gold's Gym® today unveiled ‘Hone – Powered by Gold's Gym’, a new mobile app developed in partnership with Demotu to enhance and evolve member fitness training. Hone is a connected fitness ecosystem that optimizes training for the modern gym goer, solidifying the brand’s refined focus of technological integration within its member experience offerings.
Designed to transform individual training and overall wellness, Hone integrates an array of popular and desired fitness app features into one continuously evolving, innovative platform at the forefront of modern fitness. Powered through artificial intelligence, the connected features include movement assessment technology, body composition analysis, meal planning tied to user preferences and dietary restrictions, and nutrition tracking. The proprietary movement assessment technology enables users and trainers to create personalized training plans based on each client’s goals, mobility and fitness level, resulting a cutting-edge training program for users to reach their fitness goals.
To accommodate the millions of gym goers who utilize wearable devices, Hone also integrates with Apple Health and WHOOP, allowing users to sync health and activity data for a more complete view of their progress. Additional integrations with other popular wearables are in the works.
"Gold's Gym has defined serious training for 60 years. Hone makes sure that standard travels with you in the palm of your hand." said Brad Reynolds, chief executive officer, Gold’s Gym. “This integrated platform knows your progress and what you're working toward, providing each user structured programming, progress they can see and a direct line to our trainers, ultimately unlocking additional access points to world-class fitness coaching. The best thing about training at Gold's Gym has always been our members who work incredibly hard day-in-and-day-out to reach their goals. Adding Hone to the mix makes that process more efficient and more achievable.”
Hone also helps Gold’s Gym trainers work more efficiently. AI-powered programming tools and movement assessment resources reduce administrative work and make it easier to build personalized plans. That gives trainers more time to focus on coaching and supporting clients, which is paramount in driving consistency and the long-term results clients desire when seeking out training.
Hone – Powered by Gold’s Gym will be first released in a pilot testing stage to members at participating corporate-owned Gold’s Gym locations beginning on September 10, 2026. The rollout strategy of Hone is in place to introduce the platform and gather valuable feedback from members and trainers ahead of future platform expansion.
