BARK and Girl Scouts® Introduce Patch Pals™ — The First-Ever Girl Scout Cookie Made for Dogs

Patch Pals expands how friends and families, including the four-legged family members, can take part in the fun of the Girl Scout Cookie season

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BARK (NYSE: BARK), the world's most dog-centric company devoted to making all dogs happy, has today announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with Girl Scouts of the USA to launch Patch Pals™ — the first-ever Girl Scout cookie made specifically for dogs. Launching nationally in January 2027, Patch Pals will give supporters a brand-new way to celebrate Girl Scout Cookie season with every tail-wagging member of the family.

Girl Scout Cookie season has united families, friends, neighbors, and communities for more than a century. But for millions of those households, dogs are part of the family too, and for years, Girl Scout troops across the country have been asking the same question: what about the dogs? Now, for the first time, they get to be part of it. Dog parents can soon enjoy Girl Scout Cookie season alongside their pups while supporting girls as they build valuable entrepreneurial skills and work toward their goals. All proceeds stay local, helping Girl Scout troops and their four-legged friends fund meaningful experiences and opportunities throughout the year. Through this partnership, BARK is bringing its expertise in dog products to Girl Scouts, creating an entirely new product category for the Cookie program for the first time in its history.

Patch Pals are soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog cookies made with real blueberries. Backed by years of BARK research into dog treat flavors and nutrition, Patch Pals are formulated to avoid more than 95% of the most common dog allergens. A premium BARK recipe crafted with the same quality and care dog parents expect from the brand, each 8-ounce box contains treats in four shapes, including three fun "patches" representing community, exploration, and play - themes central to Girl Scout experiences - and a trefoil nodding to the Girl Scouts logo.

"Dogs are family. We've always believed that, and so has everyone who's bought a box of Girl Scout Cookies with a dog waiting at the door," said Dave Stangle, Vice President of Brand Marketing at BARK. "This partnership is something we've dreamed about, something Girl Scouts have been asking for, and something millions of dogs have been waiting for their whole lives. Now every member of the household gets a cookie."

“Girl Scout Cookie season has always been about community, and Patch Pals are a natural extension of that tradition,” said Neha Woodward, VP, Product Program Management at Girl Scouts of the USA. “For the first time, the dogs who share our homes and our hearts get to be part of the celebration. We’re proud to partner with BARK to bring this to life and to give our girls a new, meaningful way to connect with supporters.”

Patch Pals will be available exclusively online through your local Girl Scout or troop with shipping direct to your home. Customers can visit www.girlscoutcookies.org to find a local Girl Scout troop near you and to sign up for notifications when cookie season begins nationally, or Text “Cookies” to 59618 to get the latest Girl Scout Cookie news. As an added treat, all BarkBox and Super Chewer subscribers will receive a sample of Patch Pals in their January 2027 delivery.

Girl Scout Cookie season is recognized nationally from January through April, but local dates vary by region at www.girlscoutcookies.org. To learn more about BARK visit bark.co.
