Feathery Launches Robin, the AI Operations Assistant for Financial Services

Robin enables financial institutions to turn business requirements into operational workflows through conversation.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feathery, the AI operating and decisioning system for financial services, today announced the launch of Robin, the first AI operations assistant for financial services. Robin enables insurance, wealth management, and banking firms to build and adapt workflows using plain English, while helping teams surface insights and support decisions.

When teams want to build something new, they describe what they want to accomplish, and Robin turns that intent into a structured workflow using Feathery’s pre-tested, compliant building blocks. Teams can review and modify the workflow in Feathery’s visual builder, then adapt it conversationally as business requirements change.

Once workflows are running, Robin draws on data, documents and context across connected systems to answer questions, identify what needs attention, surface opportunities and recommend next-best actions. In wealth management, Robin can support workflows such as client onboarding, account opening and advisor transitions. In insurance, it can support submission intake, proposal generation, policy comparisons, and renewals.

“Robin is a real paradigm shift that puts power back into the hands of financial institutions,” said Peter Dun, CEO of Feathery. “For too long, firms have had to adapt how they operate to the software they use, relying on vendors or IT teams to make every change. Robin changes that relationship by giving the people closest to the business more direct control over how their technology works.”

Unlike standalone AI assistants that don’t understand or know how to use a firm’s operational systems, Robin operates within Feathery’s workflow infrastructure, including its integrations, document intelligence, UI designer, workflow logic, and enterprise controls. This brings plain-language interaction to complex operational workflows while maintaining the structure and controls required to operate at scale.

"Robin is already collapsing build timelines for our clients," said Zack Khan, co-founder of Feathery. "One RIA launched an entirely new onboarding experience in a week connected to their systems: work that takes months with a traditional vendor-built approach."
