Masttro Partners With Truewind to Move Wealth Data Into the Family Office Accounting Stack

New integration securely transfers Masttro data into a chart of accounts structure for accounting platforms like Sage Intacct.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Masttro, the global operating system for complex wealth, today announced a partnership with Truewind, the San Francisco-based AI accounting platform used by finance and family office teams. The integration offers UHNW wealth management teams the ability to transfer wealth data between investment reporting and accounting platforms. Truewind converts consolidated wealth data from Masttro, including positions, transactions, and entity details, into review-ready journal entries and delivers them to platforms such as Sage Intacct.

Family offices often use different systems for reporting and accounting, without a way to cleanly move data between the two. In fact, Simple's 2025 Family Office Software & Technology Report identified data integration as the most requested capability, and also the most common point of failure, among family offices. Truewind meets this need by translating data from Masttro, where it is organized by entity, ownership, and asset class, into a format that is organized by account, which makes it usable within an accounting system. Instead of rebuilding the same information by hand each month, Masttro clients can use Truewind to share the data automatically.

“Family offices manage some of the most complex financial structures in the world, yet too much accounting work still depends on moving data between systems by hand,” said Alex Lee, co-founder and CEO of Truewind. “Masttro brings together investment data across accounts and assets, and Truewind helps translate that data into traceable, review-ready journal entries. By connecting those workflows, we can reduce manual re-entry and help finance teams close faster with greater confidence in their accounting.”

When clients start using Truewind, they map Masttro’s data to their own chart of accounts once. From there, information flows in a structure that their accounting platform recognizes, with entity, ownership, and asset class detail preserved. Accounting teams keep final review and posting decisions. The general ledger can be kept up to date, and Masttro remains the system of record for wealth data across the full estate.

Data moves only where the client directs it, with full encryption and permissioned access enforced. Masttro does not use client data to train models, and Masttro employees cannot see client data.

"Our clients have told us clearly what they want: their wealth data in one place, and the ability to put it to work with the tools their teams already use," said Jay McNamara, CEO of Masttro. "Truewind built a translation layer that respects both sides of that equation. The reporting stays in Masttro, and the accounting stays in the accounting system. The manual work in between is what goes away."
