Hipcamp Announces Winners of the 2026 Australia Hipcamp Awards
From creekside caravan sites and working farms to waterfall camps and off-grid cabins, the annual awards recognise the best Hipcamps across the country.
SYDNEY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hipcamp, the leading app for finding and booking the world’s most exceptional campsites, today announced the winners of the 2026 Hipcamp Awards in Australia, recognising the places campers loved most over the past year.
This year’s winners span a broad range of camping experiences, including private camping on a river island, 4x4-only sites in rugged mountain terrain, family campsites on the coast, and working farm sites where campers get hands on with the animals.
To determine the winners, Hipcamp analysed the last year of booking, rating and review data, from its network of more than 8 million users across more than 60,000 Australian campsites, to identify the best Hipcamps in Australia. All award lists are unranked.
“These awards are really about celebrating the Hosts who make great camping possible,” said Alyssa Ravasio, CEO and Founder of Hipcamp. “There’s so much care behind the places people discover on Hipcamp, and our annual Awards give us a chance to recognise the Hosts who go the extra mile. Camping season is just getting started, so hopefully this year’s winners spark a few ideas, help campers find somewhere new, and get more people outside.”
Among this year’s winners are Willowbank in New South Wales, a multigenerational cattle property with private camps along the Karuah River; Hidden Pocket on the Mary in Queensland, with peaceful riverside spots and complimentary kayaks; Galea Ranch in Victoria, a family-run property beneath the Cathedral Ranges; Ladybug Camping in Tasmania, with creekside campsites and cascading waterfalls; and Jarvis Estate Winery in Western Australia, offering vineyard camping near Margaret River.
