BOLINGBROOK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--S&S, a tech-forward leader in branded merchandise distribution, today released its second annual Sustainability Report, marking an important step forward in the company's sustainability journey with its first climate risk assessment aligned with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework. Together, these milestones reflect S&S's continued commitment to strengthening its sustainability program, giving customers, supplier partners, and other stakeholders greater confidence in its environmental reporting while reinforcing a high standard of climate governance.

"Sustainability is a long-term commitment that we take seriously. This report allows us to bring stakeholders along on our journey," S&S Chief Executive Officer Frank Myers said. "As our business continues to grow, we are continuing to look for ways to be a stronger, more sustainable company and to build greater trust with our customers, supplier partners and the communities we serve."

Additional highlights from the 2025 Sustainability Report include:

  • Solar Energy: Generated 2.05 million kWh of renewable energy through solar installations at five distribution facilities and corporate headquarters.
  • Water Conservation: Water usage fell 18.3%, saving more than 18 million liters year over year, driven in part by the consolidation of redundant facilities following the integration of S&S and alphabroder.
  • Advancing Circularity: Recycled waste increased 38% — 716.74 additional metric tons compared with 2024 — and 60% of shipping boxes that met S&S’s high-quality standards were reused for customer orders, reducing demand for new materials and minimizing cardboard waste.
  • Efficient Infrastructure: Deployed automated order picking across two additional distribution centers, improving picker productivity at participating facilities. The company also continued expanding high-efficiency lighting across its facilities and implemented additional energy- and resource-saving improvements that support both operational performance and long-term sustainability.
  • Community Impact: Through its Grant Program, S&S supported 58 nonprofit organizations in 2025, bringing its total community support to $390,000 in apparel, monetary and in-kind donations to more than 300 organizations since the program's inception in 2019.

"We're proud of the progress we've made, and we know there's more work ahead," S&S Chief Legal Officer Alaina Brooks said. "We're excited to continue investing in smarter operations and sustainable business practices as we build a stronger business for the future.”
