Yugabyte Unveils Global Partner Program to Power the Next Generation of Enterprise AI Infrastructure

Simplified engagement model replaces traditional industry partner tiers and equips global partners to help joint customers modernize critical data infrastructure

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Yugabyte, the distributed AI database experts, today announced the new Yugabyte Partner Program, a unified global initiative built to help partners modernize enterprise database workloads and deliver AI-ready applications.

Database modernization is now an immediate business priority as organizations seek to lower infrastructure costs while preparing data platforms for AI-powered applications. Organizations increasingly rely on trusted partners to guide these transformations, from modernizing decades-old systems to deploying cloud-native infrastructure capable of supporting business-critical AI workloads.

The new Yugabyte Partner Program provides partners with a consistent framework for engaging with Yugabyte, backed by incentives, technical enablement, and joint go-to-market strategies.

Partners can build recurring database modernization and AI infrastructure practices while helping customers replace legacy databases with YugabyteDB, the distributed PostgreSQL database built for resilient, globally distributed, business-critical applications. Whether introducing Yugabyte through referral engagements or delivering complete modernization projects through resale, partners gain access to the technology, resources, and commercial model needed to build long-term, recurring businesses around enterprise data modernization.

“The shift to AI-ready applications is fundamentally changing what enterprises need from their data infrastructure," said Karthik Ranganathan, co-founder and CEO of Yugabyte. “Organizations building a robust data foundation for agentic enterprise rely on trusted partners to provide critical strategies and insights needed, not just to modernize mission-critical databases but also to architect the resilient, globally scalable platforms that tomorrow’s AI demands. We're investing in an ecosystem that gives those partners everything they need to help customers accelerate their transformations and build long-term business engagement with Yugabyte."

Srinivasaa HG, Sr. Vice President & Global Head, Data, Analytics & AI, Wipro Ltd. said, "Financial services institutions are modernizing mission-critical systems while preparing their data estates for AI, and they expect zero compromise on resilience. Our partnership with Yugabyte gives Wipro a distributed SQL foundation for exactly those transformations, from legacy database exits to always-on digital core platforms. The new partner program adds the structure, protection, and economics to scale that practice globally, and we intend to lead with it.”

The Yugabyte Partner Program offers multiple ways for partners to engage, tailored to their business model and go-to-market strategy. Rather than requiring partners to climb tiers before they can transact, Yugabyte lets partners choose one of two engagement models from day one:

  • Refer Partners – Introduce qualified opportunities to Yugabyte and earn uncapped referral incentives.
  • Resell Partners – Sell YugabyteDB directly, own the customer relationship, and generate recurring revenue through software resale.

The program is open across five partner tracks: Strategic Cloud Partners, Resellers, Solution Partners, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Distributors. Resellers and Solution Partners engage under the Yugabyte Master Partner Agreement, while Strategic Cloud Partners, ISVs, and Distributors participate through separate, track-specific agreements. This approach matches partners to the model that best fits how they sell, so they can start building the business immediately and expand their scope as the opportunity grows.

To help partners accelerate the path to profitability, Yugabyte provides deal protection, Yugabyte University training and certification, joint go-to-market planning, marketing support, proof-of-concept resources, and streamlined onboarding.

"Our partners are already delivering the hardest version of this work, standing up YugabyteDB centers of excellence inside major banks and training engineers on distributed PostgreSQL in a matter of weeks," said Rohan Thomas, VP of Global Partner Sales and Business Development at Yugabyte. "This program exists to make that repeatable in every market we operate in."

The announcement extends Yugabyte's long-term investment in developing a global ecosystem around distributed PostgreSQL and AI-native data infrastructure. The new program includes hyperscalers and partners such as Wipro, Sonata Software, Mindgate, Takara, Ispirer, eGuardian, Ory, Hexacluster, Arus, and many more, spanning global systems integrators, cloud providers, regional resellers and distributors across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific.
