"Matt and James bring complementary expertise at a time when Charityvest is scaling quickly," said Stephen Kump, Founder and President of Charityvest. "Matt has led DAF programs on a national scale, and James has spent his career advocating for a more coordinated approach to wealth management that brings investment, tax, and estate planning under one roof. Their experience further strengthens our ability to serve donors and the advisors who work with them," said Kump, who also serves as the President of DAFs at Foundation Source.

With over 20 years of experience in the DAF industry, Nash brings deep expertise in charitable giving, donor engagement and DAF operations. As Senior Vice President at Fidelity Charitable, he served on the executive team and oversaw marketing, service, operations and the private donor group. During his tenure, he also launched Fidelity’s dedicated program for ultra-high-net-worth donors.

Nash later served as the executive director of The Blackbaud Giving Fund, a DAF platform he helped establish and scale. During his tenure, the organization granted a cumulative $3 billion to 300,000 charities. He currently serves as a strategic advisor to Purposefy, an impact measurement platform, where he advises purpose-driven organizations on aligning their goals with measurable impact.

“After more than two decades working with donors, I’ve seen how much the right tools and guidance can influence not only how people give, but also how much they’re able to accomplish through their giving,” said Nash. “Charityvest is making it easier for donors to be more intentional and effective with their philanthropy. I’m excited to help the team build on that vision and reach even more donors.”

Lenhoff is a Certified Financial Planner and co-founder of Wealthquest, a comprehensive financial planning and wealth management firm he helped establish in 2006. As President, he led the firm through 15 years of rapid growth while advancing an integrated approach to wealth management that brings financial planning, investment management, tax and estate planning under one roof. He currently serves on Wealthquest’s Board of Directors.

He is the author of Living a Rich Life: The No-Regrets Guide to Building and Spending Wealth and serves as president of the Good Sense Movement, a nonprofit focused on faith-based financial stewardship education and helping individuals and families align their financial decisions with their values.

“Many of the individuals and families I work with are thinking about their legacy. The most meaningful part of that conversation is how they can use their wealth to intentionally support the people, experiences, and causes that matter most to them now and for generations to come," said Lenhoff. "Charityvest gives donors and their advisors a simple, strategic way to do this. I'm excited to help the company bring that experience to more families."

In December 2025, Charityvest appointed Lisa Dalberth, former Chief Administrative Officer of Fidelity Charitable, to the Board. The new appointments come amid a period of rapid growth for the organization. In 2025, Charityvest saw contributions grow 167% to $265.5 million while grants grew 128% to $119.2 million, making Charityvest one of the fastest-growing DAF providers on the market. Lifetime contributions now exceed $460 million.
