Flexstone Partners Closes Acquisition of Glouston Capital Partners
NEW YORK & BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Flexstone Partners (Flexstone), a global private markets investment manager and affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, today announced the successful closing of its previously announced acquisition of Glouston Capital Partners (Glouston), a Boston-based private equity secondaries manager.
Today marks the completion of the transaction, and Flexstone now manages more than $15 billion in assets across Primary, Co-Investment, and Secondary private equity strategies, creating a diversified private markets platform serving institutional investors across North America, Europe, and Asia. The combination enhances Flexstone's secondary market capabilities by adding Glouston's established presence in the North American middle market and deep relationships across the private equity ecosystem.
“Completing this transaction marks an exciting milestone for Flexstone,” said Eric Deram, Managing Partner and CEO of Flexstone Partners. "Glouston's experienced team and strong reputation in the middle-market secondary space complement our existing platform exceptionally well. Together, we are better positioned to provide investors with differentiated private equity solutions across the full spectrum of primary, co-investment, and secondary strategies."
Glouston's investment team has joined Flexstone and will continue to operate from the firm’s Boston office. Glouston’s investment strategy and team remain intact, ensuring continuity for existing investors and investment partners. Glouston's strategies will be rebranded under the Flexstone Partners name, with the original investment team continuing to manage the business. Existing fund structures, limited partner agreements, and investment mandates are unaffected by the transition.
As previously announced, the six Glouston partners have become Managing Partners of Flexstone, reinforcing long-term alignment across the combined organization. The expanded platform includes 37 investment professionals operating across New York, Boston, Paris, Geneva, and Singapore.
