Gateway Fiber marked its official expansion into West Fargo with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 11 at 3150 Sheyenne St. The free community event, which featured complimentary treats from Nichole’s Fine Pastry & Cafe, gave residents the opportunity to learn more about the new fiber optic network and upcoming service options.

“We are incredibly excited to bring our 100% fiber network to West Fargo,” said John Meyer, Chief Customer Officer of Gateway Fiber. “We’ve seen the impact of our services in Moorhead, Minnesota and Fargo, and we are committed to delivering those same results for the residents and small businesses of West Fargo. At Gateway Fiber, we offer internet speeds to meet every lifestyle and budget. Regardless of the plan, one thing remains constant: the dependability of our network and the level of connectivity we provide. We are looking forward to serving the West Fargo community.”

Construction is set to begin this summer, with the first customers expected to have access to the network by the end of 2026. Prior to construction, Gateway Fiber will work closely with local city officials to ensure residents and small businesses are informed of work in their area.
