Excelerate Energy Releases 2025 Sustainability Report, Highlighting Progress in Energy Security and Responsible Growth

THE WOODLANDS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Excelerate Energy, Inc. (the “Company” or “Excelerate”) (NYSE: EE) today announced the publication of its 2025 Sustainability Report, highlighting the Company’s efforts to strengthen energy security, operate responsibly, and create long-term value for customers, employees, communities, and shareholders.

The report details how Excelerate is advancing these priorities as it expands its global LNG and power infrastructure portfolio. In 2025, the Company broadened its operations through the acquisition of an integrated LNG and power infrastructure platform in Jamaica, advanced infrastructure and technology initiatives across its asset portfolio, and continued investing in employee safety, development, and community engagement.

“For Excelerate, sustainability is inseparable from energy security and long-term value creation,” said Steven Kobos, President and Chief Executive Officer of Excelerate Energy. “It means delivering reliable energy, supporting economic and social stability in the regions where we operate, and operating our infrastructure safely and with a long-term perspective.”

Highlights from the 2025 report include:

  • Expanded Excelerate’s asset portfolio with the acquisition of a fully integrated LNG-to-power platform in Jamaica. Following Hurricane Melissa, the Company worked with government and community partners to support disaster relief and the restoration of essential services.
  • Advanced infrastructure and technology initiatives, including finalizing construction of the newbuild FSRU Excelerate Acadia and implementing upgrades on floating terminals from Finland to Dubai to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste, generate cost savings, and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthened safety management and performance, including updates to safety procedures, improvements to the safety observation program, and the redesign of the Company’s global Management of Change process. In 2025, Excelerate’s lost time injury frequency and total recordable case frequency were both below their respective targets.
  • Invested in workforce development and retention across a global team of 1,046 colleagues. Excelerate maintained a 97% retention rate among both seafarers and onshore employees while expanding training, leadership development, and employee well-being initiatives.
  • Supported locally informed community programs focused on education, health, environmental stewardship, and disaster relief. In 2025, these efforts included education and workforce development programs across Jamaica, Bangladesh, Argentina, Brazil, and the United States, as well as employee-led environmental initiatives across six countries.

The report also highlights how Excelerate's SAIL values, Stewardship, Accountability, Improvement, and Leadership, guide the company's approach to environmental responsibility, ethics and compliance, cybersecurity, responsible artificial intelligence use, supply chain governance, and climate-related risk management.
