IQVIA Wins Multiple Industry Awards for AI and Technology Innovation Across Life Sciences and Healthcare
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IQVIA (NYSE:IQV), a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries, today announced it received recognition this year from multiple independent industry awards programs for its use of AI to help healthcare and life sciences organizations improve decisions, strengthen regulated workflows, protect patient privacy and optimize clinical trial execution.
Healthcare and life sciences organizations are under growing pressure to bring therapies to patients faster, make sense of rapidly expanding volumes of data and adopt AI they can trust. The recognized solutions help address these challenges by combining IQVIA’s proprietary, expert-curated content and data with deep healthcare and life sciences domain knowledge and extensive experience operating in highly regulated environments where compliance, privacy and data governance are critical.
This combination enables customers to turn insight into action with greater speed, precision and accuracy – identifying high-priority patients sooner, accelerating scientific literature reviews, enabling responsible data use at scale, improving regulatory efficiency and strengthening clinical trial supply performance.
In addition to its recently announced AI Breakthrough Award for Best Predictive Modeling Solution of the Year, IQVIA has been recognized this year across multiple global technology awards including American Business Awards® Gold Stevie® for Technical Innovation of the Year – Healthcare Technology – Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology; MedTech Breakthrough for Best Compliance Solution; American Business Awards® Silver Stevie® for Healthcare Technology Innovation; and another Silver Stevie® for Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals / Product.
Granted by independent organizations that review thousands of submissions annually, the awards provide third-party validation of IQVIA’s ability to deliver meaningful outcomes across R&D, data privacy, regulatory, trial operations and commercial domains.
- American Business Awards® Gold Stevie® – Technical Innovation of the Year – Healthcare Technology – Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology: Awarded to IQVIA Literature AI Platform, an agentic system built specifically for scientific literature review that demonstrated 100% recall in search, 93% or higher precision in document screening and more than a 90% reduction in screening workload compared with manual review. The IQVIA Literature AI Platform accelerates the process from search to synthesis while delivering rigorous, traceable outputs aligned with established quality standards.
- MedTech Breakthrough – Best Compliance Solution: Awarded to IQVIA’s Privacy Analytics Platform, which powers privacy-preserving data use. The technology is deployed within the NHS Federated Data Platform in England, which integrates health data from 55 million patients. The platform has contributed to measurable system impact, including enabling more than 110,000 additional procedures, reducing discharge delays for long-stay patients by 14.9% and supporting more than 90,000 patients in cancer care.
- American Business Awards® Silver Stevie® – Healthcare Technology Innovation: Awarded to IQVIA SmartSolve® RIM, an AI-enabled Regulatory Information Management platform. It was recognized for helping accelerate global regulatory approvals, strengthen compliance and improve timely access to healthcare products.
- American Business Awards® Silver Stevie® – Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals / Product: Awarded to the IQVIA Interactive Response Technology (IRT) Supply Automation Value Engine (SAVE) program, which uses real-time analytics and automation to optimize clinical trial drug supply. The program was recognized for reducing instances when trial sites ran out of needed medicines by 76% and cutting drug supply deliveries by 73%.
- AI Breakthrough Award – Predictive Modeling Solution of the Year: Awarded to IQVIA’s AI-enabled clinical decision support tool, developed in collaboration with Breakthrough T1D. The innovation identifies misdiagnosed and misclassified type 1 diabetes patients. It reduced screening burden by 99.5% – thereby requiring 200 times fewer patient assessments than before. The tool also delivered a ~127x improvement in identifying potential type 1 diabetes patients, with 28% of flagged patients confirmed or suspected to have type 1 diabetes compared with a 0.22% baseline.
