Erthwrks Expands Platform with Strategic Acquisition of Arktos Environmental

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Erthwrks, LLC (“Erthwrks,” www.erthwrks.com), a leading environmental compliance services company, today announced the acquisition of Arktos Environmental (“Arktos”), a premier provider of Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) and Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) services.

The acquisition marks another step in Erthwrks’ strategic expansion and strengthens its ability to provide customers with an integrated suite of air compliance services nationwide.

Arktos brings deep fugitive emissions expertise, a credentialed OGI team, and a reputation for technical excellence. By combining those capabilities with Erthwrks’ existing LDAR team, source, testing, engine testing, and ambient air monitoring services, Erthwrks is creating a more comprehensive air compliance platform designed to help customers manage complex environmental obligations through a single, trusted partner.

The combination is timely for the bulk gasoline loading terminal industry, which is facing a significant shift in how fugitive emissions are monitored, documented, and managed as new LDAR compliance deadlines take effect.
