Mediacom Appoints Catherine Commisso Vice Chair & Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Administration

Appointment elevates Catherine to a senior governance and enterprise strategy role while maintaining leadership of key administration functions

MEDIACOM PARK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mediacom Communications Corporation today announced the appointment of Catherine Commisso as Vice Chair & Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Administration. She will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Giuseppe B. Commisso.

As Vice Chair, Catherine will serve in one of Mediacom’s most senior leadership and governance positions. She will provide senior leadership presence, continuity and institutional stewardship in support of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, the Board of Directors and Mediacom’s long-term interests.

In Corporate Strategy, Catherine will work directly with the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and senior leadership on Mediacom’s long-term direction and major priorities. Her responsibilities will include strategic planning, competitive positioning, evaluation of significant opportunities and risks, Board and management alignment on major company matters, enterprise-wide initiatives and select projects directed by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. A key area of focus will be developing and evaluating strategies to grow Mediacom’s sustainable free cash flow over time, including through profitable revenue growth, operating efficiency and disciplined capital investment.

Alongside these new responsibilities, Catherine will continue to lead Mediacom’s established Administration portfolio, including executive and administrative assistant support, Mediacom Park facilities and interior design, corporate travel and the AMEX Corporate Card program, mailroom and reception services, Café Italia and employee hospitality, and administrative and facilities coordination for corporate meetings, gatherings and special events.
