CACI Opens Manufacturing Center of Excellence for Defense Electronics in Rochester, NY

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI) announced today the official opening of the CACI Manufacturing Center of Excellence for Defense Electronics in the Greater Rochester, New York, area, marking the next chapter in the company’s long-term investment in the region and continued transformation into a technology-first national security company. The 61,000-square-foot facility increases CACI's manufacturing space by more than 300% and will serve as a hub for the development, test, assembly, and delivery of advanced electronic warfare technologies that give U.S. forces a decisive advantage in contested environments.

“This ribbon cutting reflects CACI's long-term commitment to Rochester and to delivering the advanced technologies our customers need to win in increasingly contested environments," said John Mengucci, CACI President and Chief Executive Officer. "Years ago, we invested in software-defined innovation because we knew the character of modern warfare was changing. Today, those investments are being transformed into advanced electronic warfare capabilities right here in Rochester. As we continue to grow, we're creating high-skilled engineering and manufacturing jobs, investing in local talent and strengthening the capabilities that protect America.”

"As we expand our manufacturing capacity nationwide, we intentionally chose Rochester because of its exceptional talent, world-class capabilities, and longstanding community partnerships," said Chris Monoski, CACI Executive Vice President of Manufacturing. "This facility reflects our long-term commitment to the region and positions us to deliver advanced capabilities faster, at greater scale, and with the quality our customers depend on."

The facility will support production, delivery, training, customer acceptance testing, and onsite storage for CACI's Terrestrial Layer System Brigade Combat Team Manpack (TLS BCT Manpack) program with the U.S. Army. TLS Manpack is CACI’s electronic warfare military technology for dismounted soldiers that enable the U.S. Army to fight and dominate in the electromagnetic battlespace. With room for expansion, CACI will produce this and many more software-defined electronic warfare capabilities at scale.

The production of TLS Manpack also supports dozens of manufacturing and fabrication small business suppliers across Upstate New York, extending the economic impact of CACI's investment well beyond the Rochester facility.

"Demand for advanced electronic warfare technology is surging, and Rochester gives us the capacity to deliver for our customers today while preparing for tomorrow," said Tom Kirkland, CACI Executive Vice President of Electronic Warfare. "By combining software-defined innovation with advanced manufacturing, we're delivering technologies that give our customers the operational edge when it matters most. Our adversaries never pause, neither can we.”
