The move brings Roskam's full cereal and granola capabilities together in a single, purpose-built Midwest location. The company said the Grand Rapids campus has proven to be the best positioned for ingredient sourcing, production resources, and automation, and that centralizing production there will improve customer service, accelerate speed-to-market, and strengthen quality control across the category. The consolidation also allows Roskam to fully leverage significant new capital investment in cereal and granola manufacturing.

"Centralizing cereal and granola production at Grand Rapids is an investment in the future of the category and in our customers," said Andre LeBron, CEO of Roskam Foods. "It positions us to deliver greater efficiency, faster innovation, and the consistent quality our customers count on."

The San Dimas facility joined Roskam through the company's 2023 acquisition of Organic Milling. All production and scheduling have been relocated to Grand Rapids to ensure continuity of supply, and customers have been notified directly. Roskam said there will be no interruption to customer service or supply as a result of the transition.

"Our customers count on us for consistency, speed, and quality, and this consolidation delivers on all three," said Zach Malin, Chief Commercial Officer of Roskam Foods. "By centralizing cereal and granola production and investing in it, we're building the capacity to innovate faster and grow alongside the brands we serve."

Roskam has notified affected employees and completed all customary and regulatory filings, including WARN Act notifications. The company said it is supporting affected San Dimas employees and working with other area employers to help connect them with new opportunities.
