Extending platform capabilities to utility providers, the solution combines the newly launched GigaPro^® GPR1011XH optical network terminal (ONT), AXOS^®-powered E-Series access appliances, and network operations tools on a standards-based passive optical network (PON) architecture. Building on insights from utility industry leaders Conexon and Irby Utilities, Calix is expanding trusted partnerships with more than 100 electric cooperatives, municipalities, and utility providers through grid monitoring capabilities that enable secure, cost-effective management of critical grid assets over resilient, intelligent communications infrastructure.
