Baker Tilly Names Tom Broderick Chief Growth Officer

Broderick will align industry, regional and commercial leadership around the firm’s growth priorities

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leading advisory, tax and assurance firm Baker Tilly today announces that Tom Broderick will become chief growth officer effective Oct. 1. He will report to Fred Massanova, North American managing principal and chief operating officer, and serve on the firm’s Senior Leadership Team.

Broderick succeeds Rebecca Pomering, who will retire from Baker Tilly at the end of 2026 after nearly three decades with the firm. Pomering will work with Broderick, Massanova and the leadership team to support a smooth transition.

“Tom understands how growth is generated across our firm, through strong client relationships, clear market priorities and consistent execution,” said Eric Miles, chief executive officer of Baker Tilly. “His experience as a client-serving principal and his relationships with leaders across Baker Tilly position him to connect our firmwide growth agenda more closely with our industries, regions and markets.”

Miles added: “Rebecca has made a lasting contribution to Baker Tilly and to the organizations she has served throughout her career. She has helped strengthen our approach to growth, client experience and commercial strategy, and we are grateful for her leadership and nearly three decades of service.”

As chief growth officer, Broderick will lead Baker Tilly’s firmwide growth strategy, aligning industry and regional leaders with sales, marketing, client experience and market intelligence. The structure is designed to turn client priorities and market insights into focused growth initiatives across the firm.

Massanova will continue to lead Baker Tilly’s North American business, including operating performance and mergers and acquisitions strategy. Broderick will focus on aligning the firm’s organic growth priorities and helping translate them into coordinated action across markets and capabilities.

Broderick currently serves as chair of Baker Tilly’s regional principals and brings extensive experience advising privately held businesses and their owners. He has practiced public accounting since 1999 and has worked across tax, assurance, accounting and management matters.

“Baker Tilly has an extraordinary opportunity to bring the full depth of our firm to clients in a more connected and consistent way,” Broderick said. “I look forward to working with our industry, regional and commercial leaders to build on the progress already underway and turn our growth priorities into meaningful results for clients and our people.”
