Oregon E-Cycles Program Launches Statewide Campaign to Help Oregonians Recycle Electronics Responsibly

Website helps residents know expanded list of items to recycle, where to recycle, and how to get answers

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MRM, the manufacturer-funded Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) now administering Oregon's E-Cycles Program is launching a statewide public awareness campaign to help more Oregonians recycle unwanted electronics responsibly. Following the implementation of Oregon's updated electronics recycling law in 2026, residents can now recycle an expanded list of electronic devices at no cost through the state's enhanced Oregon E-Cycles Program. The campaign highlights the program's new structure and expanded services, making electronics recycling easier and more accessible. The campaign instructs Oregonians how to do the following:

• Recycle your electronics. Many unwanted electronic devices can be recycled safely and responsibly instead of being stored at home or thrown away.
• Know what can be recycled. The Oregon E-Cycles Program accepts a variety of covered electronic devices, making it easy for residents to recycle eligible products at no cost.
• Find a convenient collection site. A statewide network of authorized collection locations provides free recycling opportunities in communities across Oregon.
• Find answers. Residents can access information about accepted devices, collection locations, and program details through the Oregon E-Cycles Program website and customer support resources.

The campaign is part of updates to Oregon's Electronics Recycling Law, which modernized the state's long-running manufacturer-funded recycling program. The program has provided free, convenient recycling opportunities for eligible electronics for more than a decade.
