Xsolla Adds CLI to Its AI Toolkit, Taking Game Developers From First Prompt to a Working Web Shop in One Session

The New CLI Provisions Accounts, API Keys, and Webhooks From the Command Line, While the AI Toolkit Guides Integration and Validates Every Step

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Xsolla, a global commerce company, today announced Xsolla CLI support for the Xsolla AI Toolkit, completing an AI-assisted path that takes a game developer from a new merchant account to a working web shop in a single session. The Xsolla CLI handles setup from the command line, creating the publisher account, generating API credentials, and configuring webhooks, while the AI Toolkit guides developers in correctly integrating the API within the AI coding tools they already use, such as Claude Code and Cursor.

The AI Toolkit is a free library of agent skills published to a public GitHub repository. It provides validation for a developer's AI coding tools and current Xsolla integration paths for login, catalog, and payments - with more integration paths to come so the code a developer reviews and ships is correct the first time rather than after multiple rounds of debugging.

The Xsolla CLI is the newest addition to the AI Toolkit. From the command line, a developer can create a publisher account, generate API credentials, set up a catalog, and configure webhooks the provisioning work that previously had to be completed by hand before any integration could begin. The AI Toolkit already guides the integration itself. The CLI adds everything that comes before it, so a developer moves from an empty project to a working storefront in one session, reviewing and validating the result at each step before anything goes live.

"Setting up commerce used to mean reading documentation, provisioning an account by hand, and then debugging AI-generated integration code that looked right but failed in production," said Chris Hewish, President of Xsolla. "With the CLI handling setup and the AI Toolkit guiding the integration, a developer can build a working storefront in a single session and review exactly what they are shipping before it goes live. It makes their workflow faster and more reliable, and it keeps them in control."

The Xsolla AI Toolkit and Xsolla CLI are built for studios of every size, from a solo developer launching their first web shop to a large team managing multiple integrations. Xsolla will demonstrate the full path from the first prompt to a working web shop live at gamescom 2026.
