teamLab onthult nieuwe serie van Light Sculpture - Flow tijdens teamLab Borderless. Speciale tentoonstelling "On the Asymmetry of the Universe" te zien tot 8 oktober

Asymmetric Existence is a single sculpture formed by the integration of two light sculptures: one that appears only in the physical space and is not reflected in the mirror, and another that appears only inside the mirror and does not exist in real space. Inherently, mirrors reflect physical space symmetrically. However, here, real space and the mirror image space are not in a symmetrical relationship. The two sculptures of light appear asymmetrically in different spaces, yet they emerge as a single sculptural existence within the viewer's perception. The surface of the mirror is not merely a boundary surface that symmetrically reflects real space, but becomes a field that connects the existences that appear in real space and the mirror image space. It is an attempt to expand sculpture from a physical object closed in real space, to an existence that traverses real space and the mirror image space, integrated within perception.
