Toshiba's Industry-First, Mobile, Self-Service Printer Registration Software Captures Stevie Award for Technical Innovation of the Year

LAKE FOREST, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Toshiba America Business Solutions' patented, QR-enabled eTAG^® (Encompass Tag & Assessment Generator) invention, which simplifies the often-tedious asset tag process, wins the international Bronze Stevie^® Award for Technical Innovation of the Year in the 2026 Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence.

The Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of individuals, teams, and organizations shaping the future of technology across all industry sectors. Toshiba's innovation works by intelligently cataloging every printer's make, model and location within organizations' print fleets while facilitating remote and QR-generated supply and service requests. Though recently introduced, eTAG is already enabled on thousands of devices and hundreds of Toshiba clients.
