Cracken Releases Self-Serve Access to Proactive Security Platform

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cracken, an applied AI lab building proactive cybersecurity tools, today launched the self-serve version of its platform. Enterprise security teams and individual practitioners can create an account at cracken.ai and start testing their own organizations against real attack paths, with no procurement cycle or sales call in the way. It is the first time Cracken has been available outside a contracted engagement.

In July, twice in three weeks, models running authorized security evaluations broke out of their test environments and compromised real companies. Advances like these are forcing proactive security teams to adapt quickly, yet they remain restricted by long evaluation and purchase timelines. Generic solutions do not account for cybersecurity specifics, do not allow for integrated use cases, and are not optimized for cost and performance.

Tools test components. Attackers chain organizations. Self-serve users get access to a non-restricted part of the platform that allows Cracken's operator workflow for finding the organizational vulnerabilities, threats, and risks that component testing misses, and what it takes to remediate them, with the human-in-command controls that govern every Cracken engagement: scope locks on the defined target, approval gates before any non-reversible action, and full audit logging.

Advanced offensive full kill-chain capabilities, including Cracken’s no-cyber-refusal model (Cracken Red) and restricted sensitive playbooks, as well as on-premises and air-gapped deployment, remain available only to enterprise customers under contract. Self-serve covers the discovery and remediation side of that work.
