CRH Acquires Pisgah Stone Products in Utah

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CRH’s Americas Materials business announced that it has acquired Pisgah Stone Products LLC (“Pisgah”), a producer of high-quality aggregates in Northern Utah. The acquisition will provide CRH with additional aggregate reserves to support its long-term strategy in the region, where a growing economy is driving robust construction demand.

Based in Wellsville, Utah, Pisgah complements CRH’s existing Utah operations and connected business model by supplying high-quality hard-rock limestone for asphalt, ready mixed concrete, and construction applications. The business has been locally owned and family-run for over a decade, with a strong customer base comprising both business and government entities.

“The Utah market continues to benefit from strong population growth, economic expansion and significant infrastructure investment,” said Jason Jackson, President, CRH Americas Materials. “Pisgah’s high-quality limestone reserves, strategic location, and strong cultural alignment with CRH make it an excellent fit for our growing Northern Utah business and will enhance our ability to serve customers across the Wasatch Front. We look forward to building on Pisgah’s success and continuing to deliver outstanding service to customers throughout the region.”

Derrick Pack, President, Staker Parson Materials & Construction / Jack B. Parson Ready Mix Concrete, for CRH’s Americas Materials business, said: “This acquisition further strengthens our business in Northern Utah and helps future-proof our access to the supply of high-quality aggregates required for critical infrastructure projects to support the region’s growing economy in the years ahead. The team at Pisgah has done a fantastic job of building a great business with a strong track record of delivering for its customers and we are excited to take them forward as part of CRH.”
