Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. Announces Merger With Formosa Industries Corporation

LIVINGSTON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. (FPC USA) today announced the completion of its merger with Formosa Industries Corporation (FIC), effective August 1, 2026.

As part of this transaction, Formosa Industries Corporation has merged into Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A., continuing as the legal entity following the merger.

This merger is intended to simplify the corporate structure and enhance administrative efficiencies while maintaining the high level of service and support customers and business partners have come to expect.

The merger does not change FPC USA's commitment to its customers, suppliers, employees, and business partners. Existing business relationships, product offerings, customer contacts, and day-to-day operations will continue without interruption. All rights, obligations, contracts, and business activities of Formosa Industries Corporation have transferred to Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A., which continues as the legal entity, in accordance with applicable law.
