CACI Secures $500M C-UAS IDIQ Contract; SkyValor Selected as First Task Order for JIATF-401’s Domestic Shield Effort

Following promising operational evaluations, SkyValor will move into full-rate production under a new $500 million IDIQ

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI) announced today that as the first task order of a three-year $500 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, SkyValor, CACI’s advanced drone defense system, will be deployed to strategic locations as part of a larger national security effort led by Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401) to defend U.S. interests at home and abroad against fast-growing unmanned threats. SkyValor is built to find, track, and stop hostile drones before they can impact national security operations, offering defenders earlier warnings and more time to act.

“Warfighters need a decisive advantage against drone threats that are faster, more accessible, and harder to detect,” said John Mengucci, CACI President and Chief Executive Officer. “SkyValor delivers that advantage through long-range detection, precision defeat, and the ability to adapt as drone threats evolve, giving defenders the time and intelligence to stop threats before they put our forces, borders, and critical infrastructure at risk. With successful operational evaluations complete, we are moving SkyValor into full-rate production to deliver mission-ready protection where it is needed most.”

This IDIQ contract enables JIATF-401 to leverage CACI’s tactical counter unmanned aircraft systems (c-UAS) systems. As part of the initial task order, CACI will deliver SkyValor systems for deployment at critical mission locations.

SkyValor recently completed a series of rigorous operational evaluations conducted by JIATF-401 at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. The evaluations assessed SkyValor's ability to detect and defeat a wide range of small UAS threats beyond the line of sight. Its unmatched detection range provides operators with minutes to respond instead of only seconds of warning typically offered by many lower detection range counter-unmanned systems. Based on this performance, JIATF-401 approved SkyValor for deployment to critical sites.

This latest award follows a separate contract award through JIATF-401’s Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to deliver four SkyValor units to JIATF-401. Under the original CSO contract, CACI will deliver a SkyValor variant integrated onto a heavy-duty truck, giving customers a mobile drone defense capability that can be deployed where the threat is greatest. SkyValor combines advanced sensing, automated defeat capabilities, and decades of counter-drone experience to find, track, identify, and stop hostile drones, including cellular-enabled drones.
