Accendra Health Announces Leadership Appointments in IT and Procurement

RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Accendra Health today announced key leadership appointments in Information Technology and Procurement, reinforcing our commitment to building a stronger operational foundation and positioning the company for long-term growth. These appointments reflect a deliberate shift to better align strategy and execution as we continue our evolution as a pure play home-based care organization dedicated to advancing healthcare in the home and beyond.

Nicholas (Nick) Piecora was promoted to Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer in May, reporting to Edward Pesicka, President & Chief Executive Officer, and Agnes Ansay has joined the company as Vice President & Chief Procurement Officer, effective immediately. She will report to Jonathan Leon, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.

Piecora has been a key contributor to the company’s success for nearly 20 years, playing an integral role in the business transformation to Accendra Health, and is a member of the company leadership team.

“Under Nick’s leadership, we will continue to advance our strategy by leveraging technology and automation to deliver industry-leading home-based care, enhance the customer experience, optimize operational and reimbursement performance, and provide a cost-efficient channel-to-market for our manufacturing partners," according to Pesicka.

As part of this evolution, Ansay, a procurement leader with more than 10 years of global experience, will lead the Procurement organization, bringing deep expertise in leading high-performing procurement organizations in complex, large-scale environments.

Most recently, Ansay served as the Head of Global Procurement for IT, facilities, engineering, and manufacturing at Grifols, transforming a decentralized, tactical procurement function into a centralized global category management organization. She previously held senior procurement and sourcing leadership roles at Amazon, Starbucks, Nordstrom, and Walgreens Boots Alliance.

“Agnes is a transformative leader with deep experience building high-performing procurement organizations and driving strategic value creation,” said Leon. “Agnes’ expertise will help us further strengthen our procurement capabilities, a necessary step in driving sustainable growth, improving efficiency, and supporting continued investment in the technologies and innovations necessary to shape our business.”

Ansay holds an MBA from Purdue University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Olivet Nazarene University.
