BLOND:ISH to Headline Pier Play San Francisco as Elevation Sky Park San Francisco Opens at Pier 70 on September 19

RASA World brings its four-time sellout waterfront festival home to San Francisco for ESP SF’s first public event

Pier Play SF will take place outdoors across the waterfront site; newly released dome renderings preview ESP SF programming to come in the months ahead

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RASA World, the live experience company behind Pier Play, will bring the outdoor waterfront festival to San Francisco on Saturday, September 19. The single-day, 21+ event marks the public opening of Elevation Sky Park San Francisco (ESP SF) at historic Pier 70, headlined by Ibiza-based DJ and producer BLOND:ISH.

Pier Play San Francisco marks the first public programming at ESP SF, a new destination for live music, art, film, wellness and immersive entertainment developed by Elevation XR with Brookfield Properties. The debut brings electronic music, food, interactive art and cultural programming to the Pier 70 waterfront. EMPIRE, the San Francisco-based independent music company, took a strategic stake in the campus in September 2025 to back its future music and cultural programming.

BLOND:ISH is joined by Nico de Andrea, Darco, MALAS and Admiral for a lineup spanning Afro house, organic house and Latin-influenced electronic music.

Pier Play SF is both a debut and a homecoming. RASA World was founded in San Francisco and launched the festival in 2024 on the Santa Monica Pier, where it became the first recurring dance music festival staged at the landmark. Annual attendance has grown fivefold since 2024. Those editions ran carnival games and dancing robots alongside the DJ sets, with roaming cannoli carts, curated local vendors built into the footprint by design, and light towers washing the sky above the grounds.

"Everything started in San Francisco for us, and after four straight sellouts on the Santa Monica Pier, this is the city we wanted to bring Pier Play to next," said Ahmad Muhaisen, co-founder and CEO of RASA World. "We just needed the right home and the right partners, and at Pier 70, with Elevation Sky Park, Brookfield, and EMPIRE, we found both. This is our first festival outside Los Angeles, and it won't be our last."

ESP SF was shaped to serve its neighbors from the start, with input from Mayor Daniel Lurie's office, the Port of San Francisco, and Dogpatch community organizations. Opening day is an invitation to the community that made it possible, with more programming to follow as the campus grows.

"This first event belongs to all of San Francisco and all the community members that pulled together to make it happen," said Sean Ahearn, CEO and Co-founder of Elevation XR. "We built ESP SF to be a gathering place for the Bay Area, and there is no better way to open our doors than by welcoming our neighbors into the park for a celebration of music, art, community and connection. This is the first of many events to come. There will be more and more to experience at Pier 70."

"The Port of San Francisco is thrilled to welcome Elevation Sky Park to Pier 70," said Port of San Francisco Executive Director Michael Martin. "This new immersive entertainment destination is yet another example of the neighborhood's evolving mix of unique experiences and one-of-a-kind small businesses. We're excited for residents and visitors to discover Elevation Sky Park and feel the creative waterfront energy that is growing at Pier 70."

ESP SF’s Phased Opening and New Dome Renderings

As part of its phased opening, ESP SF is releasing new renderings of its flagship dome and the wider Pier 70 waterfront campus.

When completed, Elevation Sky Park San Francisco will be home to three geodesic projection domes immersing guests in 360-degree experiences for live concerts, transformative art, film screenings, and events. The park is designed to accommodate approximately 2,500 attendees, with 3 geodesic immersive domes ranging in capacity from 150 to 750 guests, anchoring a waterfront campus that includes outdoor gathering spaces, food and beverage, and year-round community programming. Dome-based programming and additional immersive experiences will begin in the months ahead as the campus continues to open in phases.

"Elevation Sky Park is an ideal fit with the creative community onsite at Pier 70 and another great reason to visit, engage and return," said Brookfield Properties Vice President of Development Tim Bacon. "ESP adds to Pier 70's mix of uses where the energy of one space fuels the next to connect people to each other and to the waterfront. It's exciting to see Pier 70 emerging as a destination and cultural hub."
