Report highlights continued methane reductions and lower carbon investments

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kinder Morgan, Inc. (NYSE: KMI) today announced the publication of its 2025 Sustainability Report, highlighting the company’s focus on safe, reliable operations, and practical progress across its sustainability efforts. The report includes the company’s greenhouse gas emissions disclosures, adoption of advanced emissions detection technology, and commitment to employee development.

The 2025 report highlights continued methane emission reduction initiatives and related operational improvements. From 2023 to 2025, the company reduced its absolute methane emissions by approximately 13% and its methane emission intensity by approximately 17%, reflecting the benefits of the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency across its systems.

KMI also continues to invest in developing its workforce, with participation in leadership development programs increasing nearly 10% in 2025, reflecting its focus on growing internal talent.
