TWO Announces Third Quarter 2026 Stub Period Dividend on Common Stock
TWO Announces Third Quarter 2026 Stub Period Dividend on Common Stock
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TWO (Two Harbors Investment Corp., NYSE: TWO), an MSR-focused REIT, today declared a “stub period” dividend of $0.12196 per share of common stock for the third quarter of 2026, subject to the consummation of the previously announced merger with CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC (“CCM”).
The CCM merger is expected to close on August 3, 2026, subject to the satisfaction of certain remaining closing conditions. The stub period dividend reflects TWO’s most recent quarterly dividend of $0.34 per share of common stock, multiplied by the number of days elapsed since the end of the second quarter of 2026 through and including the day prior to the expected closing date of the CCM merger (33), and divided by the total number of days in the third quarter of 2026 (92). If the closing occurs after August 3, 2026, the stub period dividend amount will be recalculated based on the actual closing date.
Assuming the closing will occur prior to market open on August 3, 2026, the stub period dividend will be payable to common stockholders of record at the close of business on July 31, 2026. If the CCM merger closing date is delayed, the stub period dividend will be payable to holders of record of common stock at the close of business on the last trading day immediately prior to the effective time of the CCM merger. The stub period dividend will be paid concurrently with the CCM merger consideration. The stub period dividend will not reduce or otherwise affect the merger consideration payable to holders of common stock in connection with the CCM merger. In order to be paid the stub period dividend, common stockholders must hold their shares up through the effective time of the CCM merger.
